Anyway, I am kicking myself back into gear with this thing! My anatomy (for horses at least) is more encouraging, and there won't be people for a while yet, so I'll tackle it as it comes. D:

Keep an eye on the journal and scraps section when the comic starts, I like to post evil hints in them.

And here it is! The pre-made FAQ so that I'll never have to deal with these questions even BEING frequently asked (or at least, that's my goal, but some people ignore their schooling...).


Q: How do you make your non Earth-based names? Do you have some other language book?
A: No, I don't have a book for my non Earth-based names. I either use my effecient naming method, or they just pop into my head and I try to figure out the best way to write them out according to sound, meaning, and attitude of the character or species (in case of a character I also consider the names common to the species). :3

Q: Will you illustrate my story as a comic for me?
A: No, I'm too busy for any other commitments.

Q: Do you do commisions?
A: Not currently, but if I do there will be an announcement.

Q: What do you use for you artwork?
A: I use Photoshop 7.0 and used to use my Wacom Graphire 4x5 but now use an Wacom Intuos3 (8x11 I think)

Q: Commissions wise, I don't like paypal, can I pay a different way?
A: Paypal is trustworthy to me, so it's the only payment form I'm taking ATM.

Q: I see you're open for commissions and want to buy some art, but I'm foreign and don't have any US currency.
A: Paypal translates currency value for you.

Q: Will ____(this idea)___ happen in the story?
A: The only spoilers I'm giving away are the preplanned spoilers. AKA I can't tell you until it's time to tell everyone.

Q: Fw: Chainmail
A: I don't want chainmails, I get enough of that from my annoying friend (who got blocked on several occasions for excessive chainmailing, now she's stopped for the most part though).

Q: Can I manipulate your pictures into avatars and stuff for my site?
A: 1) I don't like my artwork manipulated in the first place and 2) I will allow my COMIC work to be manipulated into banners, avvies, etc, but only for NON COMMERCIAL purposes and they are only allowed to be displayed on my proboards forum.

Q: I like one of your Irthylican races! Can I make a character of one of them?
A: At this time, sorry but no. I'm still developing races and don't feel comfortable having people run around with irthrael and irthyls characters.

Q: Can I make a picture of my character in the form of an Irthylican race?
A: Sure, as long as I'm creditted as the creator of the race and your character doesn't conveniently stay in the form of my races until time ends. :3

Q: How do I become an affiliate?
A: If you have a comic or a resource club then feel free to NOTE me about becoming an affiliate.

and the comic IS being worked on, painfully slow. I've got the BG for the first panel done, and I'm hoping to finish the BGs for panels 2 and 3 done tonight (or 3 halfway done). :3

Yes, yes, so many journals, so little time to pretend to care. :3 Just a random mini-vent on BGs. I HATE THEM ALLLLL!!!!! So I'm spending the rest of the day (besides HW, eatings, perhaps sleeping, etc) on improving my BGs. Any and all postings (unless made for SD) will be posted on I HAD THE FIRST PANEL DONE BUT EET SUCKED! Muchly. So I killed it. I killed it real good... I did keep the mon though, it makes me warm and fuzzy inside (may end up an avvie too.

In the Foreground
I decided to make things a little more clear about my current comics. I have TWO comics. ONE of which will not be even considered until I get better a human anatomy (the characters are anthromorphic). That project was actually the first comic I wanted to do and is called "Heir to Innocence". The story itself is adorable, so when I introduce it I hope you hack from the love drama. Secluded Dream comes first though, since it focuses mostly on equines, so let's get started!

Irthylican
A land that I privately call "Irth". This world was created long before Secluded Dream was ever though up, but the story it was created for just lacked any sort of... "Grip". But the world itself. It had too much grip. Irthylican is a lot like a midieval fantasy Earth (*cough*onlybetter*cough*), in that it has tons of beasts, kingdoms, battles, etc. :3 It's also like the movie Atlantis in that technology is very dependent on magic(k). :3 That's all for now on Irth.

Secluded Dream
Why that particular name? It just came to me. I know, over used phrase, but EET EZ TWUE! So shuttup about that. :3 I seriously think that it describes everything that will go on oh so very well. :3

But fair watches, take heart. The information you shall recieve is very important. Especially so if you end up really like the story.

-I have really bad grammar (if you haven't noticed LOL), so if you notice a mistake in the story... Chances are I don't really care. HOWEVER if you noticed a TYPO, please point that out to me. :3

-All things presented in the comics are considered ROUGH DRAFT MATERIAL! That's right, you get to see "The Making of Secluded Dream". The reasons for this are the follow:
*I barely have a script
*I don't really know where I'm going with this
*I'm letting the characters "tell" me where to go with this.
*There are various plots in the story, and my decided method of presenting everything will both drive you crazy and (hopefully) love you more.

-I am doing an on-line comicing page presentation method I've never see before, which will also make creating each set a slower process. What is this mysterious method? I'm in the middle of creating the pages and I'll upload a WIP so you can see.

- ANOTHER unique thing about Secluded Dream that I will do and haven't ever seen anyone else do with their comics before is that each COVER page will be presented in a completely different style. The first one is realism. :3 I'm not sure if each chapter page will have a different style, simply because I'd run out of styles. xD

-The LAST unique thing about my S.D. (getting tired of typing the whole name out LOL) is that on each cover and chapter illustration there will be a random quote (I collect quotes). :3 Some of these quotes will foretell events in the story, others are just there because I like them.

-When I upload my comic pages I'd prefer comments to go to my proboards site rather than on the deviation itself (though either is fine, but seeing as this account isn't upgraded chances are that as time passes I won't be able to respond to each and every comment). :3

-After Secluded Ream has OFFICIALLY ended I will start up with Heir to Innocence (since by then I damn well better be a kick ass artist). On the SIDE I will be redoing Secluded Dream from the beginning giving it better backgrounds, effects (oooo...ahhhh), and over all better anatomy and presentation of perspective. :3 For those of you who read lots of on-line comics.... This is often refered to as a "Redux". :3
